Donald R. Hull, 74, of Glen Allen, Virginia, formerly of Grove, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.

After graduating from High School, Donald joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He then worked as a millwright Journeyman for Caterpillar, Inc., retiring after 31 and a half years. He also drove a semi truck for Celadon Trucking.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building and fixing things, as well as spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Harriet Hull.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Janet Sue Hull; sons, Adam L. Hull and his wife Angie, and Noah E. Hull and his wife, Amy; grandchildren, Elliana, Logan and Gavin; a sister, Pat Harman and her husband, Bill; and a large extended circle of family, friends, and church friends, and his dog, Cheyenne.

As per his request, there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation, Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House, 2nd floor, 5008 Monument Ave, Richmond, VA 23230.
