Members of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, including staff and ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Aug. 3 for new Chamber member, Community Crisis Center. The mission of the Community Crisis Center is to end domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking through client services, community collaboration and public awareness. Programs for the Community Crisis Center include a 24 hour hotline, a shelter and a safe home, prevention programs, advocacy programs, batterer’s intervention program, and guest speakers. Community Crisis Center began in 1981 in Miami and now covers Delaware, Ottawa, and Craig Counties serving more than 200 individuals a year.
