Colcord had a winning week with wins over Bluejacket (12-2) and Salina (5-3) while finishing with a tie in the game with Westville 6-6.

The two teams finished tied 2-2 after the first inning before Salina scored in the top of the fourth inning to take a 3-2 advantage
Colcord scored the winning runs in the bottom of the fourth with Shawnee Nichols hitting a two run single to help the Lady Hornets.
Colcord had three hits in the game from Nichols, Bailee Fowler and Abby Simmons. Nichols had two RBI’s while Fowler and Makayla Phan had one each. Five different players scored for Colcord.

Colcord took an early lead off a Nichols home run when then blew the game open when Tuell hit a grand slam home run scoring Jennifer Martin, Bailee Fowler and Kailee Fowler to put Colcord up 7-0.
A Kailee Fowler triple in the third scored Nichols and younger sister Bailee and put Colcord up 9-0. A Simmons triple in the fourth scored Phan to finalize the scoring for Colcord.
Colcord had 10 hits in the game with Nichols, Tuell and Abby Potter with two each.
Bailee Fowler got the win on the mound with three hits, three strike outs and three walks.

Both teams finished with eight hits in the game with Colcord being led by Nichols and Phan with two each. Bailee Fowler, Kailee Fowler, Potter and Simmons had one hit teach.
Tuell was the pitcher on the mound with eight hits, four strike outs and one walk.
Colcord will host Delaware County rival Oaks at 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7 with the junior high playing first. They travel to Ketchum Monday, Sept. 11 to take on the Lady Warriors and Afton with the games beginning at 4 p.m.
