GAMA Farmers' Market
The Grove Area Merchants Farmers' Market is open for the 2017 season.
The market, organized by GAMA members, takes place from 8 a.m. - noon every Wednesday and Saturday at the Grove Community Center, 104 W. Third, Grove.
This is a producer-only market. Everything is handmade or home-grown. Spots for vendors remain available. Local musicians interested in taking part in the market are encouraged to do so.

Food Truck Friday
Officials with the Grove Convention and Tourism Bureau will host the next Food Truck Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 1, on the lawn of the Grove Community Center, 104 West Third, Grove.
The event will feature food trucks, as well as vendors from the Vintage By The Creek and inflatables for children.
Western Justice will perform. The event is free, and open to the public.
Monkey Island Fireworks
The annual fireworks display at Monkey Island will take place on Sunday, Sept. 3, at the Grand Lake Regional Airport on Monkey Island. The event was rescheduled from the Fourth of July weekend because of rain.
The show will start at approximately 9:30 p.m. 3-D glasses will be available for sale for the fireworks show.
Bag sale at Christian Mission
Volunteers at the Christian Mission Thrift Shop will host a bag sale Wednesday to Saturday, Sept. 6 to 9.
For this sale, a full Wal-Mart sized bag of items will be $5 on Wednesday, $4 on Thursday, $3 on Friday and $2 on Saturday.

The 79th REC Day, known as Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative’s annual meeting, takes place this year on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Grove Civic Center, 1702 South Main, Grove.
Events begin at 8 a.m., with free donuts and coffee, and arts and crafts booths, on the civic center parking lot.
Inside the civic center, participants will register for the meeting, vote for representatives and visit a variety of vendors.
Area arts and crafters are invited to have an outdoor space at the festival. Space is available free of charge, but must be reserved prior to the meeting day. Set-up must take place by 7:30 a.m., on Sept. 16.
The event will also include both indoor and outdoor entertainment featuring Dylan Hall and his band, Pure Tradition, and Licketty Split, respectively, an outdoor kidzone, complete with games, prizes, and student registration for computer drawings.
Registration is open from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Grove Civic Center. Participants do not have to be present to win most of the door prizes.

Right Choices Corn Maze
The staff of the Right Choices Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will hold its half price opening weekends on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16 and 17, and Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24, at the maze near Southwest City, Mo.
The corn maze and pumpkin patch is open from Saturday, Sept. 16, to Sunday, Oct. 29, at 1161 Manning Road, Southwest City, Mo.

Taste of Grand
Culinary connoisseurs will travel from near and far for Grand Lake’s premier food and wine tasting event, Taste of Grand, set for 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, at 900 East 13 Street, in the parking lot of INTEGRIS Grove Hospital in Grove.
Taste of Grand, designed as a fundraiser for the INTEGRIS Foundation, is presented by major event sponsor, Bank of Grove. More than 25 food and wine vendors are scheduled to take place offering food and drinks.
The popular Wes Hart Band will add to the ambience with live music to dance to or simply enjoy.
Ticket sales will begin on Aug. 1. All proceeds benefit the INTEGRIS Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds continuing advancements in local health care and medical treatments for those in need.

NEOK Board of Realtors Golf Tournament
The 21st Annual Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors Golf & Give Charity Tournament, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Patricia Island Estates and Golf Course.
Hole sponsors are needed: Tee box is $150, green is $150, and a tee box/green combo is $257.
All proceeds will benefit four area food banks. Registration and payment must be received by Sept. 18 for preparation of the signs. Earlier payment allows for inclusion in promotional advertising.

Fifth Touch A Truck
Fifth Touch a Truck, sponsored by the staff at the Grove Public Library, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, at Wolf Creek Park.
The event is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for a minimum charge.

Jay Fall Fest
Volunteers from the City of Jay will host a Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 21, on the Delaware County Courthouse lawn.
