Ronald “Ronnie” Pilcher, 67, Kansas, died Friday, August 4, 2017 in Jay.
Born Dec. 1, 1949, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Tom Wyley Pilcher and Maggie Irene Luper Pilcher.
Ronnie married Renee L Kemmerer on March 26, 1978. He served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer and raised dairy cows, beef cattle and broiler chickens.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife Renee of the home; two sons Troy Pilcher and wife Stephanie of Kansas, and John Pilcher and wife Dana of Siloam Springs; one daughter Michelle Depew and husband Nick of Lowell, Arkansas; mother Maggie Pilcher of West Siloam Springs; one brother Tommy Pilcher of Kansas; two sisters Phillis Drake of Tulsa and Donnis Stanley of Rose; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Lowery Free Will Baptist Church, Oaks, with burial following at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
