The event which uses the app Aurasma, is an augmented reality experience similar to Pokemon Go.

Using an iPad checked out from the ECC Library, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students (and their parents) can search for hidden Ridgy Eggs and go on a self-guided tour of the building.

The program is designed to help students learn about the ECC building, before the first day of school on Thursday, Aug. 17.

The game features multiple stops throughout the ECC building, designed to help students identify key locations - including the bathrooms, library, office and lunchroom.

At each "Ridgy stop," students - with their parents/guardians help - will find an "egg" which can then be scanned with an iPad based app. The app releases the hidden animal within the egg.
