Hudson: July 24. Elevation normal, water 80s and murky. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and shad below the dam and along flats. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs below the dam, around brush structure and docks. Striped bass hybrids good on crankbaits and topwater lures below the dam and in the main lake. Ft. Gibson: July 21. Elevation normal, water 85 and clear. White bass good on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs and sassy shad in the main lake, off points and in the shallows. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and minnows at docks and in the main lake. Largemouth bass fair on bill baits, buzz baits, topwater lures and Brush Hogs around brush structure, docks and off points. Lower Illinois: July 23. Elevation norma, water 65 and murky. Trout good on in-line spinnerbaits, nymphs, PowerBait and worms below the dam, along creek channels, dam, tailwater and Watts area below riffles. Striped bass fair on shad and swimbaits below the dam, along channels, eddies and deep holes. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.
