Grove Assistant City Manager Debbie Bottoroff will be honored this week during a regular city council meeting as the city's employee-of-the quarter.
During her 13 years with the city Bottoroff has served twice as interim city manager.
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 18 at the Grove Community Center, Room 5.
The council members will also vote whether to approve bids on asphaltic materials, limestone base rock, and other fill materials. Bids for gasoline and diesel fuel will also be voted on for approval.
Also to be discussed and possibly approval is amending the city’s zoning ordinances allowing signs on U.S. Highway 59 and amending a city policy that deals with public safety and fire prevention.
The council will also vote on abolishing the current city surcharge and replacing it with Capital Improvement Fee for the Grove Municipal Services Authority.
Also a change order for the city’s Street Repair Project will be voted on. The change order allow for repair and improvement to Industrial Road A.
The change order adds $104,804 to the project's total cost, city records show.
