Fresh from his first session as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Rep. Josh West (R-Grove) will host two forums for constituents this week. 

The first, a veterans forum, is slated to take place from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, at the Grove VFW, approximately two and a half miles south of Honey Creek Bridge on Highway 10. 

The second, an eggs and issues forum, will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Thursday, July 13, at Trinity Baptist Church, 206 Elk Street, Grove.

During the veterans forum, others in attendance include the Oklahoma VFW Commander Robert Mason, Oklahoma VFW Senior Vice Commander Coral Porch, Oklahoma Veterans Pilot Program Coordinator Pete Reed, Cherokee Tribal Councilman for District 10 Harley Buzzard, Cherokee Deputy Chief Joe Crittenden, and a representative from Congre

The event is designed to discuss the Oklahoma Veterans Pilot Program and the president's proposed cuts to veterans programs. 

During the eggs and issues forum, West and other legislators, will answer questions posed by the audience.
