A Jenks man accused of sending sexually explicit texts and nude photographs of himself to a 15-year-old Delaware County girl appeared in Delaware County District Court on Monday, July 10, asking for a public defender.

Christopher James Walden, 29, is charged in Delaware County District Court with lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16, a felony.

He is being held on $100,000 bail and is set to return to court on Tuesday, July 11, with an application for a court-appointed attorney.

According to the affidavit for arrest, filed by Grove Police Detective Mark Sheridan, the teen’s stepmother and mother allowed officers to search their respective cell phones because the teen used both for Wi-Fi connection purposes.

The affidavit stated there were 87 pages of texts exchanged between the pair, using an Xbox application, while the teen was residing in Grove.

The teen confessed Walden sent her several photos of his private parts and she had sent five nude photographs of herself to Walden, the affidavit states.

In one conversation Walden told the teenager he didn’t want his diet to have an effect on his bodily fluids saying “I don’t want you finding anything about me repulsive,” the affidavit states.

Multiple conversations show Walden calls the victim “baby” and “mommy” and graphic language about kissing and other sexual activity, the affidavit states.

In another conversation, Walden described “their” bedroom and it will have a “pole” and a “sex swing”, the affidavit states. The wall shelves would contain sex toys, and “handcuffs” and “whips” and “rings."

On July 3, the teen told Sheridan she “she loved” Walden, and the only type of touching to take place to date, has been a kiss with him, the affidavit states.

The talk was “just fantasy” dialogue, Sheridan wrote in his affidavit.
