Borderline Bluegrass, Terry Wayne Sanders to take stage at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 3 at Wolf Creek Park.

While not directly connected to the Third of July celebration, volunteers at First United Methodist Church, Grove will host the fourth annual "Freedom Fest" an All-Church Independence Day Celebration, beginning at 7 p.m., on Monday evening, at the church located at 1005 Leisure Road, Grove.

The event will include games for small children, and outdoor viewing of the City of Grove's Wolf Creek Park fireworks display.

Participants are encouraged to enter the property using the paved drives from Leisure Lane, and bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. The event will include music by the church's praise band and bounce houses for kids.

The venue is designed to be a family-friendly setting to view the fireworks. Participants are asked to refrain from smoking. In keeping with city ordinances, no alcohol or fireworks will be permitted at the site.
