Grove's 12 & under A team has brought home the hardware. 

The Grove Outlaws competed in the USSSA State Championship East tournament held Friday, June 23, through Sunday, June 25. Going into the tournament, the team had a 16-8 record and would add five more wins in three days. 

The Outlaws' combined scores defeated their opponents 50-18. 

Grove's first game was against the Tomahawks. This would be one of the Outlaws closest games of the tournament. Grove won the game 5-4. 

The Outlaws second game of the tournament was against the Oklahoma Quake. The Quake had a 4-8 record when they entered the field. Grove won the game 11-4. 

In the third game of the tournament, Grove faced the 17-13 Oklahoma Impact. The Outlaws defeated the Impact 8-0.

Grove's momentum continued into the fourth game of the tournament against the Pryor Tigers.  This would be the Outlaws' second close game of the tournament. The Tigers were bested by Grove 10-9.

The championship game was a rematch between Grove and Pryor. Both the Outlaws' offense and defense performed batter and this time, Grove bested the Tigers 16-1. 

The Outlaws won the championship and moved on to a 21-8 record.
