Meet Carrie, one of the pets available for adoption this week at the Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake.
"Kitten Season" is here! The time of year when cats give birth to their litters of kittens, and people bring them into the shelters because they don't know what else to do with them. Kitten season lasts from now until fall when the weather gets colder.
June is Adopt a Cat Month at Second Chance Pet Rescue. Adoption fee is $25 for cats, senior cats are only $15, and a pair of bonded cats can be adopted together for the low, low price of $25.
Second Chance Pet Rescue is housing its capacity of kittens and cats and is in need of adoptive homes for these beautiful kittens and wonderful adult cats. All adoptions include spay/neuter surgeries, required vaccinations, and microchip.
Second Chance Pet Rescue offers a low-cost spay and neuter program. Contact them now to make a spay/neuter appointment for your pet to help end the number of homeless animals or contact your veterinarian. Just make an appointment today! Everyone needs to be a part of the solution - spread the word about the importance to spay or neuter your pets to help prevent homeless animals.
