Calling all readers. Members of the Friends of Grove Public Library are looking for donations for the upcoming Spring Book Sale.

The sale, slated for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 6, takes place at the Grove Community Center, 104 West Third, Grove.

Donations will be accepted for the sale, of gently used books, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, May 5, at the community center.

The sale will include all types of books, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, biographies, auto-biographies, history, military, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, true crime, romance health, self-help, religion, cooking, home improvement, gardening, sports and children’s books, as well as DVDs, books on tape and on CD and videos.

Hardback books are $1, paperbacks .25 cents, romance books are .10 cents and children's books are .25 cents. Proceeds from the sale will benefit programs sponsored by the organization at the Grove Public Library.
