The Jay Lady Bulldogs wrapped up the regular season with nine games during the past week,  the week to wrap up the regular season and will host districts on Wednesday, April 19 beginning at noon.

Caitlin Taylor registered the first perfect game in slow pitch softball history at Jay with the a 17-0 win at Locust Grove on Friday, April 14.

"I am proud of the girls," said Coach Samie Watson. "They had a tough week and faced it where as in years past they ran from this year we ran toward it. We faced some tough competition and beat a lot of good teams this week.

"I hope is shows the girls what they are made of and they can beat anyone."

Lady Bulldogs 15 Welch 0

Led by home runs from Mya Pickup, Jade Creekkiller and Lexi Taylor the Lady Bulldogs powered out 19 hits and 15 RBI's in the game. Maggie Lokey, Haley Dry and Jade Creekkiller went 3-3 in the game while Marissa Lokey, Caitlin and Lexi Taylor had two hits each. Creekkiller had four RBI's with Maggie Lokey and Pickup three.

Lady Bulldogs 17 Inola 5

Creekkiller was the big catalyst going 3-3 and driving in seven runs in the game. Two of Creekkiler's hits found their way over the outfield fence for home runs in the third and fourth innings. Regan Dry and Marissa Lokey also had home runs in the game. For the second game in a row Jay had 19 hits in the contest. Pickup also went 3-3, with Marissa Lokey, Caitlin and Lexi Taylor, Cayla Williams and Jessie Summerfield all collecting two hits each.

Lady Bulldogs 10 Haskell 4

Jay traveled to Haskell to take on the Class 4A, 18th ranked Lady Haymakers. Home runs from Dry, Marissa Lokey along with Caitlin and Lexi Taylor. Lokey's was a single shot in the first inning, Lexi Taylor a two run blast in the fourth while Dry and Caitlin Taylor was part of three run seventh inning. Jay finished with 16 hits in the game with 10 RBI's.

Lady Bulldogs 13 Jay 10

The second game of the double header resulted in Haskell making it a home run derby with seven home runs that results in 18 hits and 13 RBI's. Jay had 19 hits, 10 RBI's and two home runs. Caitlin Taylor

's two blast came in the top of the third inning while Marissa Lokey's home run scored two runs in the the fourth. Marissa and Maggie Lokey along with Creekkiller had three hits in the game.

Lady Bulldogs 17 Locust Grove 0

Caitlin Taylor made history in this game throwing the first no hitter in slow pitch softball in Jay history. Taylor gave up no hits, no runs and no walks in her time on the mound. Marissa Lokey and Caitlin Taylor were the two players leading the Lady Bulldogs with three hits each while both also had multiple runs batted in. Jay had 16 hits and 14 RBI's.

Lady Bulldogs 19 Kellyville 8

Jay run ruled the sixth ranked team in the state behind four hits from Caitlin Taylor. She finished with two singles, a double and a home run, a three run shot, in the top of the fifth. Alexa Duncan also was perfect at the plate also going 4-4.

Trailing 4-0 Jay took control of the game in the top of the second with 10 runs. The Lady Bulldogs finished with 22 hits. Creekkiller and Lexi Taylor had three hits while Dry, Summerfield and Maggie Lokey had two hits.

Tulsa Union JV 11 Lady Bulldogs 3

Jay had eight hits in the game with Pickup and Maggie Lokey with two each. Dry, Summerfield, Caitlin and Lexi Taylor also had hits in the game. Pickup, Summerfield and Maggie Lokey scored the Lady Bulldogs runs.

Lady Bulldogs 12 Muldrow 2

Jay went up 7-1 after two innings and scored the remaining runs in the third and fourth innings. Summerfield, Marrisa Lokey and Caitlin Taylor were perfect at the plate going 3-3. Williams and Pickup had two hits each while Dry, Stoddard, Lexi Taylor and Maggie Lokey also had hits in the game. Caitlin Taylor had three RBI's and Marissa Lokey two.

Lady Bulldogs 11 Wilburton 4

Caitlin Taylor was once again the power behind the Lady Bulldogs bats with four hits. She finished with three singles and a home run. Pickup and Maggie Lokey had three hits with Creekkiller, Williams and Marissa Lokey two.
