Members of the Delaware County Commissioners approved a $2,500 bid from Bethene Robison for a Eucha Fire Department 2005 Chevy truck during the Monday, April 17, meeting.
In other business, the commissioners approved allowing the group, Gathering of Vets, to hold a drawing on the courthouse lawn at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 9.
Also approved was to set up a cash donation account of $8,800 on behalf of property owners in the Henry Brothers and Brown subdivision.
“The donation is for roadwork and the county will help with the manpower,” said Doug Smith, County Commission Chairman (District 1), adding that the donation would be set up in a separate account.
The commissioners also approved fronting $60,209 for a Cherokee Nation Road project in District 2. Smith said Cherokee Nation will reimburse the funds.
The commissioners also approved transferring $20,000 from the county heat and air account to the use tax account.
Several financial invoices were approved, including $4,450 from the Craig County Sheriff’s office for housing March inmates, $1,160.25 from Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau, and $806.69 from the state Office of Juvenile Affairs.
The next meeting is 9 a.m., Monday, April 24 at the Delaware County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Public Meeting room.
