Kansas took some hard losses during last week dropping a regular season game to Sperry 11-10 on Tuesday, April 11 while dropping games to Muskogee 12-10, Stigler 9-0 and Eufaula 14-6 during the April 13 to 15 Stilwell Tournament.

Sperry 11 Comets 10

Kansas fell behind 6-0 after the second inning before cutting the lead in half with three runs in the top of the third to make score 6-3. Kansas cut the lead to two in the top of the fifth a run before the Pirates scored five in the bottom of the fifth.

Kansas rallied in the top of the sixth with five runs to make the score 11-9 before falling short in the top of the seventh with only one of the two runs needed to tie the game.

Keelan Davis and Daris Glass finished with three hits and two runs scored while Trenton Pigeon, Chance Kolysko and Blaine Pickup had two hits each. Pigeion, Kolysko and Rowdy Blackbird had three RBI's each. Blackbird pitched 4.1 innings with 11 hits, 11 runs, three walks and three batters struck out. Davis was on the mound for 1.2 innings with two strikeouts to his credit.

Muskogee 12 Comets 10

Kansas took an early 7-3 lead after two before Muskogee outscored Kansas 4-2 through six to trail 9-7. The Roughers then scored three runs in the top of the seventh to take a 10-9 advantage. Kansas tied the game in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extra innings. The game would go four extra inning where Muskogee scored the two winning runs in the top of the 11th inning.

Kansas outhit Muskogee 17-13 with Glass leading the way with four, Blackbird three while Davis, Kolysko, Pickup, Body Barnett and Jager Pifer all had two.

Glass pitched five inning with seven hits, six runs, two walks and three strikeouts. Davis came on four 4.2 innings with six hits, four runs, six walks and five strikeouts. Garret Teague pitched 1.1 innings with one walk and two runs scored.

Stigler 9 Comets 0

Stigler scored five runs in the first inning and three in the third to take an 8-0 lead.

Kansas finished with four hits in the game with two hits each from Davis and Pifer. Three pitchers Teague, Kolysko and Tyler Seay combined for 11 hits, nine runs, three walks and no strikeouts in the game.

Eufaula 14 Comets 6

Eufaula went up 6-3 after two innings and outscored Kansas 6-2 into the fifth inning. The Ironheads added one run in each of the sixth and seventh innings. Kansas finished with 10 hits in the game and four errors. Glass, Pickup, Johnny Seay and Jaxon Schelshman all had two hits in the game while Kolysko and Ethan Sinor had one. Pickup, Barnett, Kolysko and Tyler Seay teamed up to pitch the game with 13 hits, three walks and four strikeouts in the game.
