Area youth competed in the Fourth Annual Youth Gigging Tournament, hosted by members of the Green Country Gigging Association on Friday, April 14.
The one-night tournament took place at the gigging flats at Lake Eucha State Park.
Kawliga Waller won the 10 and under division with 42.22 points.Waller also brought in the big fish with a 2.88 pound sucker.
Lucas Tuder was the top gigger in the 11 to 15 age division with a total points of 280.64 points, while Kaden Budder caught a carp weighing 11.23 pounds for the big fish.
In the 10 and under division Conley Curry was second (40.22), Addie Dingsor, third (34.68), Bayle O'Leary, fourth (18.18), Bentley Hanson, fifth (13.25), Ryker Wiese, sixth (13.20), Kadence Davis, seventh (11.60), Coye Roberts, eighth (8.12), Owen Williams, ninth (7.20) and Landon Baker tenth with 7.20 points.
Following Tuder in the 11 to 15 age division were Brooks Smith, second (161.84), Jaxson Tanner, third, (80.34), Kobe Warren, fourth, (55.84), Budder, fifth (48.03), Benton Denny, sixth (35.56), Hayden Eberle, seventh (34.80), Even Williams, eighth (24.24), Landon Davis, ninth (19.60) and Brishn Smith tenth with 15.12.
