Smithsonian Exhibit at Har-Ber Village
Volunteers and staff at Har-Ber Village in Grove will the traveling Smithsonian Exhibit, The Way We Worked, from Saturday, March 25 to Monday, May 8, at the museum.
A VIP reception for members will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m., on Friday, March 24. Reservations are required.
Har-Ber Village is a living history museum. Located at 4404 West 20th Street, outside of Grove, the museum will open for the 2017 season on March 18. The new hours will include 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday to Monday. It will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Murder at the Speakeasy
Members of the Jay Educational Foundation will host "Murder at the Speakeasy: The Death Of Legendary Mob Kingpin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Bulldog Arena.
Tickets are $20, and a table of 10 is $200. Proceeds from the dinner theatre will benefit the Jay Educational Foundation scholarship fund for graduates of Jay High School. Tickets are available for purchase at Grand Savings Bank, Jay, and Arvest Bank, Jay.
Members of the Grove Educational Foundation for Excellence will host the annual GEFEE Gala at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at the Grove Civic Center, 1702 South Main, Grove.
Tickets are $90 each, and available at local banks. A table of 10 may be reserved for $875 by calling Nate Pitts at 479-925-0695.
6th Annual Grand Dam Run
Runners, walkers and joggers alike are encouraged to take part in the Sixth Annual Grand Dam Run, sponsored by the South Grand Lake Lions Club.
The race, a Cherokee Nation Wings Program race, will take place on Saturday, April 1, with all proceeds benefiting the South Grand Lake Lions Scholarship Program and the Veterans Honor Plaza.

Cost is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run. Participants will receive a white long sleeved tech shirt.
Early packet picket takes place from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, March 31, at First Christian Church in Langley. Same day registration begins at 7 a.m., on site. The fun run takes off at 8 a.m., and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. Wings entry deadline is Wednesday, March 22. The race will begin at the Veterans Honor Plaza at 220 West Cherokee Avenue, Langley.

Jay Chamber Banquet
Members of the Jay Chamber of Commerce will host the annual chamber banquet at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 6, at Bulldog Arena, on the campus of Jay High School, Jay.
Miss Oklahoma 2016 Sarah Klein will serve as the guest speaker. Tickets for the catered meal are $30 in advance.

First Friday Wine Share
The first Friday Wine Share will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Cloudpants Studio & Gallery, 26428 S. Highway 125, at the entrance of Monkey Island.
Participants are asked to bring their favorite bottle of wine. Singles may bring a bottle every other month, couples are asked to bring one per month. Participants are also asked to bring their own wine glass and an appetizer to share.
This month's event will feature a silent auction to benefit the Oklahoma MS Society and include musical entertainment. Participants are asked to come "prepared to dance."

Vendors sought for Rodeo Miami
Event organizers are seeking vendors for Rodeo Miami, the seven-time ACRA Rodeo of the Year.
The rodeo will be at the Miami Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6, 2017.
Food vendor space is available for $350 for the weekend. Non-food vendor space is available for $250 for the weekend.
Application Forms may be picked up at the Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), located at 111 North Main Street. Those interested can also contact officials with the CVB at 918-542-4435 to receive forms via email or by fax. Application and payment deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28.
