Story time on Monkey Island
The story time at the J. Weber Lending Library on Monkey Island will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at the Port of Entry shopping center, just south of the intersection of Highway 125 and 85A, going towards Monkey Island.
This month's event will include the books "And Then It's Spring," "It's Spring!", and "Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms," read by Joyce Weber, retired teacher and librarian. This month's craft will include creating a special spring picture.

Boy Scout Pancake Fundraiser
Members of the Boy Scouts in Grove, who are attending the 2017 National Scout Jamboree will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, March 18, at the Grove Masonic Lodge.
The meal is $5 (donation) and includes pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. The lodge is located at 401 South Broadway, across from the Grove community Center.
Six scouts, representing Troop 78 and Troop 713, will attend the national jamboree this summer.
Circus in Grove
Members of the Majestic Star Circus, part of the Clark & Barnes Circus will host two shows, at 4:30 and 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, under a big tent at Wolf Creek Park in Grove.
The show includes illusionists, jugglers, artistry and contortionists. No exotic or domestic animals are included in the acts, at this time.
Tickets are $10 for adults, with two children 2 to 12-years admitted for free with a paying adult. Additional children are $5 each. Children under 2 are admitted free. The show lasts approximately two hours.
Tickets may be purchased at the show’s box office prior to the performances. Free child tickets are available at area stores.
