DELAWARE COUNTY - Voters in Delaware County will decide on a new member for four school districts when they head to the polls on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Elections will take place in Colcord, Jay, Moseley and Oaks School Districts.

In Colcord, incumbent David Ramsey is running again. He will be challenged by Benjamin King.

In the Oaks Mission School District, another incumbent in Tonia Fields Trejo will run again for seat No. 2. Her opponent will be Melvin D. Blossom Jr., who ran for the No. 1 seat a year ago.

The Jay race will feature two new faces, as incumbent Linda Bingham dropped out of the running for her seat. Bill Hobbs and Ashley Williamson will face off to determine who will fill the seat previously filled by Bingham.

In Moseley, Amanda Kauffeld and Laura Poteet will compete for the No. 2 seat in their district.

Those candidates running unopposed in their district seat elections in Delaware County include: Eldon F. Brashear, Kansas School District; Theodore M. Smith, Kenwood School District; Luke Barnett, Leach School District; Billy Jarvis, Cleora School District; and Terry K. Jones, Grove School District.
