W. Louise Cole, 88, passed away from this life into eternity on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 in Tulsa. She was from Grove, but lived with her daughter and son-in-law the last eight years of her life.
She was born Jan. 21, 1928 in Bartlesville, to James Edgar and Anna May (Starr) Cunningham. Louise married Robert Eugene Cole on Aug. 10, 1947 in Dewey, Oklahoma.
The Coles lived in Bartlesville, Muskogee, Tulsa and Grove, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Louise worked in banking for more than 60 years.
Louise was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tulsa. She was a member of the Beacon Sunday School class and volunteered in the Prayer Card Ministry and other church outreaches.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; her parents; youngest son, Tony Cole; sisters, Betty Burton and Lucille Keener; brother, Lester Cunningham, and two brothers-in-law, Clarence Burton and Ben Keener.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Pam Cole of Rocheport, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Leroy Jeske of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren: Courtney and Ryan Jeske of Millburn, New Jersey, Elisha and Melissa Cole of San Angelo, Texas, Michaela and Joshua Silverberg of Nashville, Tennessee, Asher Cole of Tukwila, Washington and Hannah Cole of San Antonio, Texas; five great-grandchildren: Sydney Cole, Zoe Silverberg, River Silverberg, Penelope Jeske and Sloane Jeske; sister-in-law, Peggy Cunningham and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa.
Interment will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at Butler Cemetery, Grove, with memorial services following at 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 1115 South Boulder, Tulsa, under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
