Having trouble with plans this weekend? Here are few things to get you started:
1) Movie night: Plenty of options lie ahead this weekend for a movie trip by yourself, with a significant other or the whole family. "Patriot's Day" opens this weekend, retelling the story of Boston before and in the aftermath of the marathon bombing. Another horror thriller,"The Bye Bye Man", opens in theaters as well if you are looking for a scare. If you are looking for edge of your seat drama, "Sleepless" starring Jamie Foxx will be on the big screen this weekend as well.
2) Inspiring story: Michelle Swafford, who's battle with addiction was chronicled on A&E's Intervention, will speak how she overcame her battle and found God while doing it at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Colcord Hornet Arena. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
3) Weather planning: Every time of year is severe weather season in Oklahoma, so it's always good to have a plan. Gather your family this weekend and go over what to do in case of certain types of sever weather. If you don't already have one, go shopping with your family for an emergency supply kit that can be readily available whenever your family needs it during severe weather.
