Four people were reportedly hospitalized following a head-on collision Saturday in downtown Bartlesville.

“The accident happened around 9 p.m. the 7th, in front of the Community Center on Adams,” Bartlesville Police Department Capt. Jay Hastings told the Examiner-Enterprise Monday. “It was in the 300 block of East Adams between Osage and Dewey.”

Hastings said the accident involved two pickups, one going east and the other west.

“The westbound truck had one occupant and went left of center for an unknown reason and struck the eastbound truck head on,” he said. “And there were three people in that vehicle.”

He said all four people were taken to the hospital but he's currently not sure the exact extent of their injuries.
