The brackets for the Tri-State Classic Basketball Tournament to be held in Bulldog Arena Jan. 19-21 have been released.

The boys bracket will have teams from four states as Redemption Christian out of Texas joins the tournament. They will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Jay is the two seed.

Representing Missouri, East Newton High School out of Neosho and Seneca High School will send their teams. Kansas joins Jay and HFC out of Oklahoma City.

Lifeway Christian and TSHAA out of Northwest Arkansas will represent the neighboring state of Arkansas.

Redemption Christian will open with East Newton while Kansas will take on TSHAA. Jay will open with Lifeway Christian and Seneca will play HFC out of Oklahoma City.

The tournament will begin on Thursday, Jan. 19 with boys games at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 6:40 p.m. and 9:20p.m.

Class 3A, No. 9-ranked Kansas is the top seed on the girls bracket will start the tournament at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 against Jay JV.

Seneca and East Newton represent Missouri while Lifeway Christian is the Arkansas representative.

Jay will open with Seneca JV at 7 p.m. while Seneca and Lifeway Christian play at 4:20 p.m. East Newton will open with Kansas JV at 1:40 p.m.
