The Northeast Oklahoma Kennel Club will hold its 1st annual Responsible Dog Ownership Day, as proclaimed by the Grove City Council and Mayor this coming Saturday, September 20th at their training facility. Located 1.5 North of the highway 10/25 Junction. Hours are between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.
In an effort to increase awareness and promote responsible Dog ownership the kennel club has lots of fun and informative activities planned. Here are just a few.
Reduced Cost Microchip Clinic. $25.00 for chip, insertion, and enrollment in recovery service. Provides permanent identification for your dog.
Canine Good Citizen Testing. $5.00 per Dog. Test your dog’s basic obedience skills for AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification.
Meet the Breeds. Members and their dogs will be available to meet and discuss individual characteristics of the Breeds.
Lots of Health and Safety information about our canine friends. How to decide what sort of dog is best for your family.
See obedience and agility demonstrations. Find out about how to become a Therapy dog Team and/or a Reading Education Assistance Dog Team.
Free Hot Dogs, drinks. Balloons and coloring books for the kids while supplies last.
It will be good time and educational for the entire family. Entry is free to the public. Dogs and Kids are welcome. All Dogs must be on leash.
