GROVE, OK – Casey Bowers, a loan officer at Grand Savings Bank, recently completed the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) Consumer Lending School. Bowers was among 57 students who attended the school held at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.  The OBA Consumer Lending School, conducted annually, educates students on the overall consumer credit function and helps them develop an array of skills to meet the needs of loan customers. Specific areas of training include: loan application generation and loan closing, loan pricing and structuring, direct and indirect lending, real estate and home equity products, bank liability, compliance and documentation, relationship development, bankruptcy and banking trends. The OBA conducts more than 70 educational programs and seminars each year for the state banking community. The Association represents approximately 280 banks across the state, supporting the industry with a broad array of services including government relations, education, fraud training and legal services and communications.
