The Grove Early Childhood Center (Grades Pre K and K) will be conducting enrollment for new Pre-Kindergarten students and new Kindergarten students on April 30th and May 1st.  Enrollment will be held at the Grove Early Childhood Center Library 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.  Parents may pick up an enrollment packet beginning April 1st from the Early Childhood office and take it home to fill out the forms.  Packets must be returned during the scheduled enrollment dates on April 30th and May 1st.  Packets will not be accepted ahead of time.  Parents must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate, immunization record, social security number and a CDIB card if applicable.  Children do not need to attend the enrollment.  Pre-Kindergarten children must be 4 years of age on or before September 1st, 2000.  Pre-Kindergarten is offered on a first come, first serve basis to the first 140 students.

Enrollment generally is filled within the two enrollment dates.  After the enrollment is full, students are placed on a waiting list.  Only students with completed enrollment packets and current immunizations will be placed on enrollment lists.

Students who are currently enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten.  New kindergarten students are encouraged to enroll on April 30 th and May 1st.  Kindergarten children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st, 2008.

Enrollment packets for new Kindergarten students will be available April 1st at the Early Childhood Center office.  Kindergarten parents must also provide the district with a copy of the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and social security number.
