Wells Fargo Advisors, a national brokerage firm based in St. Louis, recently announced that Jack Wimer has been named First Vice President-Investments. Jack Wimer is a financial advisor in the firmís Grove office.

A graduate of The University of Tulsa, Wimer joined the Grove Branch of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2007, following a career in financial management and economics. Jack is a former Principal Management Analyst for the Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City and served as Deputy Secretary for Program and Budget for the California Health and Welfare Agency. He also served as a policy analyst in the United States Senate and the Reagan Administration.

Wimer, a native of Miami, Oklahoma, is a member of The Grove Rotary Club and the First United Methodist Church. He and his wife Terrie, who serves as the Office Manager at the Methodist Church, reside in Grove. They have six grown children.
