Do not wait another minute to get your ticket to the 2011 Fur Ball Benefit on Saturday, April 30—a benefit to help the animals of the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake.  To purchase tickets, you can:

Go to the website www.humanesocietyofgrove.com,  call the shelter at 918-786-7630, Email hsgrove@att.net, or stop by the Humane Society's newly located Thrift Shop at 33 W. 3rd Street (corner of 3rd and Grand in downtown Grove).

Have a fun and rewarding evening.  The party will start at 5:30 pm in the specially decorated Grove Civic Center, 1720 S. Main.  The evening will begin with a chance for you to bid on the amazing items in the silent auction. There are well over a hundred items donated by wonderful people and businesses in our community. Get that special gift from dinners at wonderful restaurants, a large selection of original pieces of art, home decor items, a variety of workshop tools, or win a private wine tasting party for 10.  There are casino adventures, rounds of golf at area courses, Grand Lake watercraft rentals, a guided fishing tour, an airplane tour of Grand Lake, nights at the theater, and so many more fun items to bid on.

Sit and enjoy a delicious dinner with your choice of Prime Rib au jus or a delicious white wine sauce over chicken breast.  Share a bottle of wine with your table.  And one had better save room for the “secret” special desert. Your dinner will be prepared personally by Russ Arnold of JR Spanky's.  This will be your evening to just eat, drink and have fun!

The live auction will follow dinner with some really great items to bid on: A fabulous day at the lake on a luxury 65 foot yacht with a group of your 20 best friends and family, a Margarita Madness Cruise for 8 people, a luxurious 9’ x 12’ authentic wool oriental rug, a spectacular studded leather library table, a rich assortment of fine wines from Central California vineyards, a private catered pool party for 20 at the Grove City Pool, and a private shopping experience via limousine for a group of 8 ladies.

Then get ready to dance the night away to the live music of the Stumble Cookies. This band from Tulsa will have you moving to their classic rock music. The cash bars will remain open with your choice of wine, beer, margaritas, and specialty Vision Vodka furnished by Susan and Rudy Moritz.

The clock is ticking and only a few tickets remain.  The tickets to the Fur Ball are just $38 per person and must be purchased prior to the benefit as no tickets will be sold at the door. You can reserve a table for a party of 6 or more. Get together with your family, friends, neighbors, work friends and associates and have a party for the animals.  However, everyone attending must be 21 years or older.

Have fun and feel great by helping the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake.  All the proceeds will go directly to help care for the homeless dogs and cats all around our area.  Enjoy this event and make a difference…the animals are counting on you.
