In honor of Jim Beauchamp, the family requests your presence at a celebration of life service Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2 o’clock at Grove First United Methodist Church in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Randall Hamill officiating.

Mr. James Edward “Jim” Beauchamp, professional baseball player and coach, born August 21, 1939 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Dennis and Beulah Beauchamp, passed away December 25, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Beulah Beauchamp and his brother, Eugene Beauchamp. Jim is survived by his wife, Pam Smith Beauchamp of Tyrone, GA; daughter, Ann Rene’ DePietri (Richard) of  Phenix City, AL; Shanna Rich (Andrew) of Phenix City, AL; Lauren Lee (Matthew) of LaGrange, GA; sons, Kash Beauchamp of Wichita, KS; Tim Beauchamp of Grove, OK; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaleigh and Kobe Beauchamp; Rachel and Sarah Jayne DePietri, Brooke and Rebecca Lee; and Noel Rich; sister, Patti Crockett (Don) of Grove, OK; sister-in-law, Kay Beauchamp of Grove, OK; step-mother, Lee Jean Beauchamp of Jay, OK; mother-in-law, Juliaette Smith of  Phenix City, AL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was in professional baseball for 50 years and one of the things that meant the most to him was the dedication of the Jim Beauchamp Field in his hometown of Grove.
