This is one of four questions a young son asks his father during the moving reading of the haggadah at the traditional Passover Seder.  The haggadah recounts the dramatic story of the children of Israel’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt, as told in the book of Exodus in the Bible.  A Seder is a special service held on the first night of the Feast of Passover, a feast ordained by God in Exodus 12 to be observed annually as a reminder of His remarkable deliverance of His chosen people.  The Feast of Passover, Pesach in Hebrew, is celebrated by Jews and Christians all over the world.  Many Christians celebrate Passover as the life of Jesus is beautifully illustrated in the symbolic acts associated with the Seder.

House of David Ministries in Fairland announces that their annual observance of the Feast of Passover will be held on Wednesday, April 8th:, beginning at 6:00 p.m.   In addition to the traditional Seder and meal, this year’s celebration, “Sanctified for Success” will be followed by a live worship concert with Integrity Music recording artist Paul Wilbur.  The celebration also includes a conference focused on sanctification led by Wilbur, Rabbi Curt Landry and Pastor Tim Alsbaugh of the House of David and Bishop Paul Nya of Togo, Africa.  The conference will begin on Tuesday evening April 7th from 6:30 – 9:45 p.m. and conclude on Wednesday morning 9:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.  Registration is $50 for Conference/Seder/Worship Concert and $39 for Seder/Worship Concert only.  Children 10 and under are $29; 4 and under are free.  Registration can be made online at or by calling (918) 257-4190.  The Seder/Worship Concert may be viewed online at One New Man Network found at  for a charge of $10.00.
