Everyone, even kids, are feeling the stress from work and school these days.  Help relieve that stress by coming to the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center and experiencing yoga in nature.

Cost: $4.00 per person

Age: any age welcome

This yoga class is for anyone and everyone to enjoy exercising at their own level of ability beside the serene Shoal Creek in Wildcat Park.  Yoga instructor, Connelaine Gustad, teaches Hatha Yoga, a form of exercise for balance, strength, flexibility, and endurance.  She believes yoga is for every body type, gender, and age, and instills harmony and tranquility in one’s life.

Yoga mats, blocks and straps for participants will be provided.  Participants need only wear comfortable clothing and look forward to an hour of nature’s beauty and rejuvenating movement.

Participants will meet and pay at the Audubon Center before heading to the pavilion at Shoal Creek.  In case of inclement weather, program will be held in the classrooms at the center.

The leaves may be off, but you can still identify trees.  Learn how at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center.

Age: 12-15 year olds

Discover the art of identifying trees in winter by using twigs.  Participants will apply new skills to help create a display to share the secret with others who visit the center.

Registration and pre-payment is required for all programs at the Audubon Center. Space is limited and fills up quickly. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
