“Fabulous” is what Averil Steedman, one Grand Traveler says when she is asked how her trip to Italy was.  Grand Travelers of Grand Savings Bank and Travel Masters of Bank of Siloam Springs Arkansas met in Tulsa to take off on their 10 day journey to Italy.  The trip was filled with awesome sights, great hotels, and wonderful food and wine. The five night stay in Montecatini Terme was a hit with the travelers!

Each day the group enjoyed the unforgettable landscapes of gently rolling vine-clad hills, and medieval towns such as Assisi, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. They then returned to the comfort of their “home away from home” each night.

The ever famous leaning tower of Pisa, and the Academy Gallery to see Michelangelo’s Statue of David was among the favorite stops.  The most picturesque of Italy’s perfectly preserved medieval town of San Gimignano was a site the travelers will not soon forget!  And, of course, the visit to Rome will be a memory forever etched in their minds with the visit to the Vatican City and St. Peter’s Basilica, along with the Sistine Chapel.  So many other great sites and memories will be shared for a long time. The pictures this group took are fantastic!   They will be able to share their wonderful memories with friends and family with the complimentary DVD they will receive. If you are interested in becoming a Grand Traveler or would like to go on one of the great trips planned in the future, call Debbie, Donna or Ann at Grand Savings Bank, 918-786-2203.  They travel from next door to around the world!
