Katie Kolczun is 12 years old and loves animals. She wanted to do something to help the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake raise much needed funds. So during the Christmas Open House at Grand Panache on Saturday, November 13th, Katie sold home-made cupcakes and hot cocoa. Grand Panache agreed to match any funds raised by Katie that day. Katie was a pretty good salesperson as she raised $100. Katie then presented a check for $200 to Shirley Daggett, Manager of the Humane Society’s Second Chance Thrift Store. Thank you Katie for all your hard work to help the animals.
Thanksgiving is a time for all to be thankful. So between now and Christmas, the Second Chance Thrift Store with give a free gift to customers with every $10 of merchandise purchased.
