Once again, the Crowder College Community Chorus will present “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” under the direction of Crowder’s new Choral Music Instructor, Dr. Kierstin Bible.  Dr. Bible will be joined by pianist, Robert Ensor, who began this tradition at Crowder several years ago.  The chorus will be joined by the Ozark Festival Orchestra and conductor Ken Meisinger for a variety of traditional Christmas hymns and carols.  “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” is a traditional service of music and scriptural readings modeled on a long-standing traditional service of King’s College in Cambridge, England.  The concert is made up of nine readings from the Bible (both old and new testament) along with related carols and other sacred songs. The service will take place on Sunday, December 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the Neosho United Methodist Church located at the corner of Hickory and South Wood Street in Neosho.   It is free and open to the public.  For more information, call 417 455 5620.
