 Come discover more about conserving energy and alternative energy sources through this entertaining, hands-on program at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center.

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Cost: $2 per person (underwritten by a Together Green grant)       

Age: 8 years and older

Participants will help make bio-diesel fuel; compete in the Energy Olympics for prizes; and end with a yummy, solar-cooked snack (weather permitting).

When it comes to fur coats, Missouri’s mammals are set for winter!  Come learn more about some of our native mammals and ways to enjoy them year round at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center.

2:00-3:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person

Age: 5 years and older   

Participants will learn about a variety of Missouri mammals through a fun game of Mammal Jeopardy.

There will be pelts, skulls, horns, and antlers to look at and touch.

 Weather permitting, there will be a short hike outside to look for signs of mammals.

Registration and pre-payment is required for all programs at the Audubon Center.

Space is limited and fills up quickly. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
