Saturday, April 30, 2011 - Mark this date on your calendar and plan to join in the fun at the first annual Fur Ball - a benefit for the animals of the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake.  Doors to the event will open at 5:30 pm at the Grove Civic Center.

Dinner - Sit and feast with a delicious dinner of your choice of prime rib or chicken breast with white wine sauce catered by JR Spanky’s.

Dance - Shake to the live music of The Stumble Cookies from Tulsa.  You will not get this up-beat music out of your head or be able to stop moving for days.

Auctions - Fetch that special gift from fabulous donated items for the silent and live auctions.  Win the bid to spend the day on the lake in a luxury yacht or a margarita madness pontoon cruise,  a private pool party at the City Pool or a private wine tasting party for 10, purchase original works of art or a beautiful large oriental rug, dine out at great restaurants, hit the links for 18 holes of golf, and so much more for everyone.

Tickets for the Fur Ball may be purchased online at the Humane Society website at www.humanesocietyofgrove.com or call the Humane Society shelter at 918-786-7630.  Tickets are $38 per person and must be purchased by April 25.  Enjoy the Fur Ball with a group of friends as tables can be reserved for parties of 6 or more.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  A cash bar will be available so all attending must be 21 years of age.

This is where the fun will be, so make your plans today.  Enjoy this event and make a difference in the lives of the many homeless animals.
