Crowder College Menís Soccer Team is proud to present Thunderdome XXVII, January 30-31, 2009 in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Crowder College campus in Neosho. Thunderdome is the longest running indoor tournament.
The tournament play follows a modified Futsal format and is an open tournament. Teams are organized into groups of four and guaranteed three matches. The top two teams from each group advance to a single elimination knock-out tournament.
Teams will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis. The first 16 teams will be included, with teams being accepted in groups of four once 16 teams have registered. Deadline for registration is January 19, 2009. Cost per team is $150 with a $50 discount for those sending more than one team. Payment must be received to place your team in the draw.
Each team will have a maximum number of 10 players per team. Players may not be on more than one team roster. Rosters will be frozen at the time of the first game. Play is conducted with four field players and a goalkeeper. Players will be required to sign a waiver before their teamís first match.
Games will start at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2009 through the conclusion of the tournament. Games may be played throughout the night in order to complete the tournament on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
