Dr. Gregory Lamp, Audiologist and owner of Family Hearing Services, recently attended the 10th Annual Continuing Education Workshop in Orlando, Florida sponsored by Audina Hearing Instruments. The 3-day conference focused on several topics related to hearing instrument products and patient care. Presentations at the conference included discussions on effective, non-surgical approach to treatment of single-sided deafness, advanced digital signal processing, open ear canals: what science tells us, and the future of hearing instrument technology. Other presentations included infection control for hearing health care providers and practice protocols for preventing medical errors.

Dr. Lamp has been providing diagnostic hearing evaluations and hearing instrument fittings for 17 years in Grove and surrounding communities. Dr. Lamp said, “it is vital for me, as an Audiologist, to attend continuing education workshops not only to comply with state licensure regulations, but to stay abreast of advancements in hearing instrument technology so I can better serve my patience.” With offices in Grove, Miami and Vinita, Dr. Lamp is able to provide audiology and hearing instrument services to the residents of Grand Lake without the patient having to travel to larger cities. “I would like to thank the community for its support over the past 17 years and look forward to many more years of service in the future,” says Dr. Lamp.
