Talbot Library and Museum, 500 So.Colcord Ave., Colcord, OK will be presenting local author, Jean Hendrickson Hurt with her new book “Growing up R.I.C.H., Raised in Crazy Hollow” on Sunday, February 15, at 2 p.m.
This event will be held in the Springtown Schoolhouse on Talbot’s property.
There will also be musicians, and refreshments will be served.
Come meet Jean and get acquainted with her new book about her growing up years in the 1930’s in southern Delaware County.
Jean has written humorous stories and poems for many years, which have been printed in various publications and has now compiled them in a book.
This softbound book is $12.00 plus tax, it also contains photos. Also, included is a brief family history on her ancestor, Lucinda Still Martin, early Cherokee settler of the area.
