Operation Christmas Child

The Child Development Associate (CDA) classes at Crowder College Technical Education Center recently participated in Operation Christmas Child to aid disadvantaged children.  Each year the CDA students volunteer their time for various community help programs.  Students donated items and packed supply boxes to be shipped to children around the nation and the world.  The CDA students were able to pack 18 boxes for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 9.   The following students are members of the CDA classes:

Second Year Students (Seniors):  Cerena Bettes, Cheree Bettes, Amanda Bickford, Cloey Divine, Jackie Martinez, Maria Regis, Tiffany Roberts, Keisha Sexton, Felicia Slate.

First Year Students (Juniors):  Alecia Aulick, Ashley Beaver, Krista Branstetter, Angie Carter, Sadies Coe, Lauren Daigle, Shelby Rockwell, Chelsea Myers, Tori Pike, Jessica Proctor, Courtney Reid, Brittany Robins, Keisha Schuler, Johnna Slayton.

The CDA class is a two year training program for individuals who are seeking a career teaching early childhood education.  Upon completion of the program, students receive their CDA Credential, which certifies them as a highly trained and knowledgeable early childhood professional.

 The CDA program is housed at Crowder College TEC on the campus of CrowderCollege.  The program services area high school juniors and seniors.
