It’s finally spring!  Get out and stretch those tired winter legs while learning more about the season of spring in our natural world at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon signs of spring hike.

9:30 - 11:00 am

Cost: $5.00 per person

Suggested age: 7 and up

Using the trails at Wildcat Glades, participants will look for flowers, animal life, and even fungi!  Come prepared for the weather, the trails may be slightly muddy.

ENERGY – it’s on everybody’s mind! How can we meet our energy needs AND protect the natural world?  Come discover more about conserving energy and alternative energy sources through this entertaining, hands-on program at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center.

1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $2 per person (underwritten by a Together Green grant)       

Age: 8 years and older

Participants will help make bio-diesel fuel; compete in the Energy Olympics for prizes; and end with a yummy, solar-cooked snack (weather permitting).

Registration is required for all programs at the Audubon Center. Space is limited and fills up quickly.
