Neoba has announced January 17 as the date for its annual Spring Beginners class, “Starting right with bees”. This class will guide you through your first year as a beekeeper with all the information you need to get started in keeping bees. The class runs 6 Saturdays from 9:00 am

till Noon. The cost is 65.00 per person or 85.00 for the whole family and includes your tuition,textbook,1yr membership in neoba and themonthly newsletter.

This will be our last class until October 2009, so sign up now to get started this year.

Neoba is Oklahomas’ largest beekeeping organization. With over 300 members, Neoba has been the leader in training new beekeepers for over a decade. The group also provides continuing education thru its’ monthly meetings, held on the second Monday of each month at the OSU extension

center in Tulsa, helping to keep area beekeepers among the best in the nation.
